Technical Support

1. Where is my Key Code?

If you order online, your Key Code will be displayed when you complete your order, and you will also automatically receive your Key Code by E-mail. If you do not receive your code within 1 business day, please contact our Tech Support Staff

If you lost your Key Code you click here to request a new one.

2. Where do I enter the Key Code?

You enter your Key Code by tapping the "Register" button, which appears on the opening screen when you launch the Hazmatter application.

3. My Key Code doesn't work

  1. The user name you gave us may have been incorrect (for example, you may have entered "John Doe" when the user name is actually "John P. Doe"). In this case we would provide you with the wrong Key Code.
  2. You may be entering the Key Code into your Palm incorrectly.  All Key Codes are five numeric digits.
  3. You entered your Palm's serial number instead of your user name.

4. Where do I find my Palm-based handheld computer's User Name?

Tap on the Applications button

Tap on the HotSync icon

Your user name is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.

5. Where do I download Hazmatter?

You download Hazmatter from the Download Hazmater page. A Key Code is required in order to run Hazmatter. Before you run the Hazmatter program, you must purchase Hazmatter to receive a Key Code.

Note* Hazmatter can be downloaded on a MAC or PC. You download the installation files on either operating system, then you Hotsync or manually install the program to your Palm-based handheld device.

6. How do I install Hazmatter?

After purchasing Hazmatter, you will be directed to the Download Hazmatter page. You will also receive a link to this page via E-mail. The Download Hazmatter page contains detailed instructions for installing Hazmatter from a PC or Macintosh computer.

7. What if I am having difficulties installing Hazmatter?

Before installing Hazmatter, your Palm-based handheld computer should be set up to HotSync with your desktop computer. You should then follow the instructions from the Download Hazmatter page.

If after HotSyncing, you see a "Connection Failed" message (or something similar), try restarting your desktop computer and HotSync again.

If after HotSyncing, a dialog box is displayed with a Log button on your desktop computer, click on the Log button to see if there are any messages regarding Hazmatter.

If you continue to have difficulties, try manually installing the Hazmatter files.

8. How do I run Hazmatter?

Click on the Applications icon. This will display the programs that are installed on your Palm-based handheld computer.

If you do not see the Hazmatter logo (display logo):

  • Click on Categories.
  • Select All categories.
  • Scroll through the categories until you locate Hazmatter.
  • Select the Hazmatter icon to run Hazmatter.

9. I cannot find Hazmatter on my Palm-based handheld computer?

Follow the steps to run Hazmatter. If you still cannot find Hazmatter:

  • Click the Applications icon.
  • Select the Menu icon.
  • Select Info from the menu. Scroll through this list of applications to see if Hazmatter is listed.
  • If Hazmatter is not listed in the Info dialog box, re-install Hazmatter, HotSync, and then choose the View Log in HotSync on your desktop computer.
  • Now look for any messages regarding Hazmatter.
